Nobody Wants A Mop
No one spends their workday dreaming of a new mop… unless you’re us. You don’t really want a new mop, a better chemical, or a more ergonomic mopping technique.
What you really want is a clean floor. Right? When you get clear on what problem you’re trying to solve, you may even come to find that a mop is the wrong tool for the job.
Is There a Missing Piece in Your Cleaning Team?
We need to get really clear on the problem before we propose a solution.
Here are 3 problem areas we find again and again…
Beat-up Floors
Your floor takes a beating 365 days of the year; then, one day a year, you strip the floor and refinish it to make it shine. It’s beautiful, shiny, and heads turn. But, it doesn’t last: your floor starts to looks worse in no time at all.
We vacuum daily to capture all of the dirt and grit, then mop to make sure we haven’t missed anything. But mopping can’t possibly remove all the dirt off the floor; your bucket of water is dirty after the first dunk, right? The floor finish takes a hit on day one, and it doesn’t stop there. Soon, the finish is gone and the floor itself is being damaged.

Stained Carpets
Carpets take a beating 365 days of the year, then we bring in a carpet cleaner for a one-day job to fix the problem. Sure it’s fixed on that day, but do you really want to have a dirty carpet for 364 more days until the next time?
We vacuum daily to capture all of the dirt, but how do you mop a carpet? Vacuuming only cleans the surface, it doesn’t get the deep down grit that ruin the fibres.

Nasty Restrooms
Foul odour, bacteria, grime; welcome to the biohazardous waste transfer station. We mop it regularly to keep the germs at bay, but odour still builds over time. So, we put up air fresheners.
Mopping is not the only solution in an area this busy. Similarly, covering a bad odour with a nicer one isn’t addressing the problem. You don’t want to take a black light in there, trust me.
